Ramadan is our favorite time of the year. The general public sees it as the month where Muslims fast for 30 days. But it’s more than that, most don’t realize how special this time really is for those who follow the Islamic Faith. Families and friends come together for spiritual upliftment, reflection on the Quran and Prayer becomes a priority, goals and intentions are renewed for the coming year, seeking repentance for wrongdoings, and giving back to the community are among the many acts of worship that take place during this time. It’s a time of peace and reflection where the community comes together to uphold the true essence of what it means to be a muslim.
We’ll be posting some special features this month on our blog. To kick things off, we have complied some of the most interesting articles trending online about Ramadan 2010.
