To kick-off the launch of Creative Muslims I’ve dedicated my first post to the topic of Blogging. It’s an international web phenomenon that’s growing everyday. Here’s how you can be a part of the Blog Community.
What I wanted to share today is The Muslim Blogger. The Muslim Blogger started by Karim Baz is a fun, informational blogsite covering all the in’s and outs of blogging. Karim shares information on how to get started in Blogging, free quality themes, getting traffic to your blog and much more!
Blogging is one of my favorite hobbies. The internet community of bloggers is extremely diverse and thriving. Amongst them is the muslim community of bloggers. We are a group with a strong and growing presence in the blogging community – young & old, business professionals & stay at home moms. Mashahlah, I have come across many wonderful blogs from muslims across the world. Sometimes personal blogs, other times How-To Blogs, blogs about technology, islam and more.
Blogging is not only a great way to reach out to the muslim community, but also a form of da’wah (calling others to Islam). As muslim bloggers we represent Islam on Cyberspace. Being positive, showing that we care about certain issues (such as Human Rights, the Environment, our Health, etc.) and showing that we are creative are great ways to refute negative media criticism and connect with the world.
