STAFF WRITERS – Interested in Writing for Creative Muslims?
As a new start up we are looking for dedicated writers that are passionate about social media, web 2.0, multimedia and design. If you love creativity, are great at writing, and are enthusiastic about joining our team, here’s what you can do:
Staff Qualifications:
>> Must be at least 16 years old
>> Have decent writing skills
>> Passionate about Social Media trends, Community Endeavors, Design, and Dawah
>> At least 1 original blog post every two weeks is expected – show us you are dedicated.
>> Willingness to learn new things and take initiative
>> Willingness to connect to our readers via Social Media is preferred but not required.
Benefits: This is a great opportunity to gain experience in writing for a social media platform! You’ll also have the chance to keep on top of the latest news in the community, and build on your network of creative professionals.
Paid: Currently this is an unpaid position. However we are working on establishing a yearly stipend for the writers and editors on our staff. Stay tuned!

- >> Send us a small portfolio of 3, 1-page (double spaced) writing samples. Each piece must be 300 words minimum. The writing pieces can cover any range of topics, but you must have at least one writing piece relate to any of the topics we blog about (Design, Inspiration, Multimedia, Social Media, or Tech).

HR Director – It’s all about Talent Management
Responsibilities:
>> Works closely with our staff and writers
>> Actively searches for qualified candidates to fulfill staffing needs
>> Organizes recruiting events and activities
>> No experience is required except that this individual is willing to take initiative
>> Must have great writing and communication skills
>> Will work on establishing the CM internal correspondence (i.e. Monthly Staff Updates)

IT Manager - Everyone loves IT
Responsibilities:
>> Manage all technical aspects of the blog – i.e. upgrades, backups
>> Resolve any technical problems and concerns that come from staff or readers
>> Email setup management
>> Responsible for security
>> Knowledge of WordPress, SQL, E-mail is preferred and willingness to learn on the job
